What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Our contact forms will collect your data for only for the intent for us to follow up with you if you show interest in joining our business as a paying client. We will not share your information to any 3rd parties and it will never be sold.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Your privacy is important to us, and maintaining your trust and confidence is one of our highest priorities. We respect your right to keep your personal information confidential and understand your desire to avoid unwanted solicitations. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, PureForce CrossFit will only collect and use personal information as set out below. We are disclosing this policy to you so that you will have a better understanding of what we do with the information you provide us and how we keep it private and secure. Except as otherwise described in this notice, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to employees of our gym who must use that information to provide services to you. Thank you for allowing us to serve all your fitness needs. We value your business and are committed to protecting you privacy. A. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect certain personal and billing information about you, only when that information is provided by you or is obtained by us with your authorization. We use that information solely for the purposes of setting up your account in our business management software which collects scheduled payments and for merchandising. This information is mandatory to setup an account with our facility and will be used only to create your PureForce CrossFit membership. As a general rule, we do not disclose personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone for any reason without your consent or authorization.

B. USING AND DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal Information will be used for the following primary purpose:

• To fulfill obligations under your membership agreement and/or any other contract between you and PureForce CrossFit.

• To render services under your membership agreement.

• To provide information about products, service and/or special offers.

• To obtain opinions or comments about products and/or services.

• To record statistical data for marketing analysis.

PureForce CrossFit may employ other companies or individuals to assist us in providing our services, or to provide certain services such as providing marketing assistance or consulting services. These third parties may have access to information needed to perform their function but cannot use that information for other purposes.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use third party business management software to bill you for services and an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf. We use discussion board and forum software to give you an opportunity to communicate with other members while using our site. You will always be asked to sign-up for any of our third party software and we do not give your information to them for any reason.

ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

If your collected information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, and delete/deactivate it by emailing our customer support. We will respond to your request promptly.

STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

PureForce CrossFit will take all reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information recorded, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. The information is stored on secure servers if in digital format, or in locked areas if in hardcopy format. PureForce CrossFit employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information. However, security of communications over the Internet cannot be guaranteed, and therefore absolute assurance that information will be secure at all times cannot be given. PureForce CrossFit will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorized access to personal information.

PureForce CrossFit AND LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

PureForce CrossFit may provide links to web sites outside of the PureForce CrossFit site. These linked sites are not under the control of PureForce CrossFit, and PureForce CrossFit is not responsible for the conduct of companies linked to the PureForce CrossFit web site, nor for the performance or otherwise of any content and/or software contained in such external websites.

TEMPORARY HOLD REQUEST

THIS IS A TEMPORARY HOLD REQUEST, NOT A TERMINATION REQUEST.
1. You have the option to put your automatically recurring membership on hold for any reason.
2. Membership hold requests must be submitted no less than one week before your upcoming invoice. All membership payments are non-refundable.
3. Members may request to place their membership on hold for one-month increments, with one hold allowed per calendar year. Upon expiration of the hold period that you select below, your account will automatically reactivate and regular membership payments will resume. Your original agreement will be extended by the amount of time of the membership hold. If you chose to cancel your membership during the hold period, the standard 30-day cancellation notice requirement stated in your membership agreement is applicable. If you choose to reactivate your membership after it is cancelled, membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable (membership rates are subject to change).
4. There is a $50 fee for Membership Holds.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION REQUEST

1. If you decide to reactivate your membership in the future (and we hope you do) membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable as membership rates are subject to change.
2. If you would like to put your membership on hold instead of canceling, you can submit a Temporary Hold Request. If you’re sure you’d like to cancel, just complete and submit the form below. This will serve as your 30 day written cancellation notice as required by your membership agreement. Your membership will be cancelled 30 days from the submission of the form below. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within this 30 day period, the payment will be processed as scheduled. All payments are non-refundable.
3. Cancellation of membership prior to the expiration of any specified commitment period requires an early termination fee equal to the standard non-discounted month-to-month rate.
